This year in CALM, student are going through four stages of their life .. From Pre-teen all the way up to adulthood, with all the ups and downs in-between! As we wrap up the Pre-teen stage, students will participate in our own Game Of Life - Jr High Edition!

We're back at it for year two of The Game of CALM! We have a new and improved Wheel of Misfortune! We also have our Misfortune Wall of Fame where every event will be posted after every Misfortune Monday!

First week of The Wheel Of MIS-Fortune Prototype Edition has been a success! Students have been blogging about their experiences using EduBlogs. Here's what's happened so far!

First, students got certified for their CPR and First Aid ... not so misfortunate! Then they broke their leg playing soccer(ouch), followed by getting in a fight at school and getting 100% on their Math Dioloma! What a busy week!

Hello Twitter! As we get closer to our big CALM Elementary Career Day this Friday with John Barnett Elementary School; this is chance for us to look back on a fun semester in CALM @melazerte ! Lets thread this up!

And lastly (yes, lastly!) we had our students take part in a Star Wars Themed Breakout Room! This was the culmination of their decision making and problem solving unit. They took what they had learned as a team, and attempted to find the Death Star Plans!

We also had our students engage in our very own Career (Learning) Fair where they presented their top three careers to students around the room in a conversational setting. This allowed for questions to be asked and answered in a low stakes, but meaningful way!
