@WinterHavenNole@sirdibbydukes And second, the us does not control the price of gas. Gas prices have been over $2 a gallon since 2005. If your retired you aren't traveling over 100 miles a day so that really shouldn't be impacting your savings (but again you calculated for this right?)
@WinterHavenNole@sirdibbydukes Man it sounds like you hate capitalism. But yes just about all of that stuff goes up with annual inflation and wage increases cause companies pass the buck to the buyer. But again you should have accounted for a good portion of this increase in your retirement.
