Despite laws requiring women be notified about breast density found on mammograms, women did not describe a strong understanding of this risk (vs family history); improved clinician communication is needed. @lbbeidler@CGunn_BU@nkressin@TABattagliaMD https://t.co/tse92I2Cki
3. Without data sharing and closed loop referrals (which are challenging to implement), it is hard to know if referrals provide value to patients and organizations. @frazetk@DartmouthInst@namrazon
2. Tailored referrals that consider the patient’s medical and social situation were viewed as ideal, generic referrals were used because they are less labor intensive to implement.
Something people don't appreciate about qualitative research is the amount of time it requires. Between scheduling, conducting, transcribing, & analyzing (& re-analyzing!) interviews; member checking; and being reflexive, it can take years to finish a study of 30 participants.
#Primarycare practices are referring pts to local community resources to improve social needs like housing or food. They report 3 challenges: managing resource lists, aligning referrals to patients & assessing effectiveness of referrals. @frazetk@namrazon https://t.co/pIGhQHxRFz

Exactly 1 week ago we smashed Vermont's previous 1-day case total by more than 100. Well, today we've gone 100 over THAT. 591 new cases. A positivity rate over 4%. And 11 more deaths in the past week. #vtpoli#covid19vt#ourshotvt
Stay home, wear a mask if you must go out. Things are not trending well here. If you are planning to have Thanksgiving with people outside of you 'bubble' - you need to start quarantining today.
I’m seeing a lot of Vermonters sharing maps like this one from https://t.co/eThTJQhKuh and crowing that other states should be more like us. But today @healthvermont reported 109 new cases, our highest one-day total ever. So maybe Vermont needs to be more like Vermont, too.
Excited to see our latest paper out in JGIM on how ACOs implement care plans for patients with complex health needs. Care plans are an evidence-based tool that can improve outcomes while engaging patients. Main findings... @LBBeidler@ADMBriggs@CHColla (1/5)
