It’s obviously something that’s been playing on his mind. Like, he shows up after 5 years, and whenever Marlene talks about Aerith it’s always “Cloud this, Cloud that.”

@KenMastersUSA Always found it interesting that they did that. They could’ve easily just had a shot of the performance without confirming who had played Rosa.

Same with the Remake credits; when the resolution section shows up, they only have Aerith’s scene.

Definitely some intent behind it.

I know some people hate that answer, but the Re series has revolved around Aerith and her fate since the beginning. It wasn’t just a catalyst in OG, but her fate is the central purpose of why they remade these fucking games in the first place.
