@smalltown_wife @Lexy_Sauve I had to be on a job site a couple years ago on Mother’s Day, but then the work got delayed to the next day. I was already there and it was too far to drive home and back. So I stayed in the hotel all day by myself. It was both the best and worst Mother’s Day.

@Elliesmommyy23 True, there aren’t long term studies. For people most at risk of dying from COVID, they’re old anyway, I don’t think they really need to care so much about long term effects the way young people do who aren’t really at risk anyway.

@Elliesmommyy23 I’m not sure what you are referring to about patents in 2019? I’m sure there were patents before 2020 that involved technology related to mRNA vaccines in general, but I hadn’t heard of anything before 2020 for covid specifically.

@Elliesmommyy23 The reason the Covid vaccine could be developed so quickly was because of the decades of research prior. And the biggest benefit of mRNA vaccines is that they are faster to develop than traditional ones which use live or dead viruses.

@dilanesper The two theories aren’t mutually exclusive. The lab collected viruses from animals. A person in the lab could have been infected by a virus of zoonotic origin, and then spread it at the wet market.

@audrawrongspeak Fever, vomit, or crazy rash, stay home. Runny nose or cough, go out. If we’re seeing people with babies or older people, then I warn them ahead of time about even minor things and then we decide if we cancel, do stuff outside, or what.
