We recently completed the refurbished of the old wool store at the historic John Smedley site in Matlock.

The former store has been turned into three 3 storey townhouses.

Each house has two off road parking spaces and an outside area looking over the Derbyshire countryside

The property consists of three en-suite bedrooms, a large accessible bedroom with en-suite as well as large kitchen and offices. In addition to this, the existing garage was changed into an office with a small toilet and a Crisis room where people can visit 24 hours a day.

We recently took on the challenging task of turning an existing four bedroom house into a five bedroom HMO in 8 weeks.

The £200k alterations were finished on time ready for the property to be furnished by the client in preparation for the rooms to be occupied.

Chris visited one of our Derby City sites last week to check on the steelwork erection. This new-build dwelling, named 'The Oaklands', comprises a complex steel frame to support internal cantilevers and feature windows, so careful coordination has been essential.
