Microsoft is putting monthly limits on Xbox Cloud Gaming starting in November.

Game Pass subscribers will get:

-Ultimate: 15 hours/month
-Premium: 10 hours/month
-Essential: 5 hours/month

Cloud gaming was previously unlimited across these tiers. Microsoft says the change is due to rising operating costs and expects it to significantly affect around 4% of Game Pass subscribers.

Players who want more hours will be able to buy additional cloud-playtime bundles through the Xbox Store, with unused hours rolling over.

Microsoft is also introducing a pay-as-you-go option, letting people stream supported games they own without subscribing to Game Pass
