Donielle Powell, LCSS Teacher of the Year, recently attended the Georgia Teacher of the Year Conference where she presented to a group of District Middle School Teachers of the Year on teaching practices she uses in her classroom. Congratulations again, Mrs. Powell!

Congrats to LCHS FFA Dairy Evaluation Team! They recently won 1st in Region & 7th at State out of 31 teams. Freshmen team members are Emma Barkley, Olivia Vanderwalt &Bailey Shiver. Olivia Vanderwalt also placed 3rd High Individual at State. LCHS was represented by Chloe Wright.

Students in Ninth Grade Campus Healthcare Science I classes learned about the proper way to don (put on) and doff (remove) PPE (personal protective equipment) as they complete their infection control unit.

Loryn Bell will represent the Ninth Grade Campus at the Columbus State University Excellence in Teaching Competition. Loryn created a lesson using a 4th grade standard/learning target for the competition and then taught the lesson to her peers. We are so very proud of Loryn!
