@nygnyrwx @isaiah_bb They need computers, analysis tools (microscopes, imaging technology, lab space). Also, most of them need a salary to continue to do the work. There is waste in government spending, but most of these research projects are not where to cut.

@nygnyrwx @isaiah_bb Just a quick list. Just for the hamsters - you need to know everything about their genetics, a place for them to live, food for them to eat, and vet care. I’m not familiar enough with the study, but I know you need many of them to confirm the results you’re seeing are true.
