Well.. my contemporary placement is over! Today we presented our research & recommendations on improving autism-friendly facilities to @WBA along with lots of reasoning and OT-ness! It’s been a great placement! Thanks to @UoW_OT and @PGloverWBA for everything ⚽️!

Have secured a band 6 maternity leave cover post in my current job 👏🏼 💚 progressing in a specialist LD team can be quite difficult as jobs don’t come up often. Pleased to have the opportunity to work with even more complex cases!

@StefanManby Hi Stefan! That���s good to hear. There’s about 50 people in my team but we do have profession specific teams that sometimes do little meals out and things. I tried planning a christmas do for everyone and only 6 people out of the 50 came! 😂

If your trainee is organised & diligent - tell them
If your Consultant is calming & kind - tell them
If your nurse in charge is bright & hard working - tell them

Normalise giving compliments when deserved - it means a lot
