Lutley Community Voices is a 4 part choir based in the Hayley Green area of Halesowen. We formed in January 2012 and have grown to approximately 70
singers.

May/June's song of the month was the now famous sea shanty 'Wellerman', this is a brand new song for LCV and turned out to be a bit of an 'earworm' that we all enjoyed singing. Thanks yet again to Margaret, Chris and John for making this happen.

April's Song of the Month was an old favourite: 'Goodnight Sweetheart'. We have now completed a full 12 months of SOTMs, hopefully it won't be much longer before we can meet up in person. Thanks to Chris, John and Margaret for their dedication and patience pulling these together

Here is our latest Song of the Month 'Chattanooga Choo Choo'. Learning and recording this has kept us all busy while dreaming of being able to travel :-)

Here is our first Song of the Month of 2021: Pokarekare Ana - a traditional Maori love song. This one was proved even more challenging since it is unaccompanied, however it has turned out really well. Thanks Chris, Margaret and John for pulling it all together.

17th Feb marked 4 years since LCV performed at an over 50s event at the NEC, as well as singing, some choir members sampled gin and scrambled to the top of a climbing wall. 20th Feb 2020 was the first and last rehearsal for our 2020 concert which was due to be held at the Cornbow

We have recorded an extra 'Song of the Month': Jingle Bells is a choir favourite that we have been singing since the choir was formed. Over the years it has taken on a life of its own! We hope this brings you some Christmas cheer.
