@LouisEverett1 Couldn’t agree more. Never felt so out of depth and so unable to ‘fix’ what I’d love to fix whilst simultaneously being able to see tangible - good - results of things I’ve done. Always thought curriculum was my ‘thing’ but moving to pastoral was an unexpected positive.
@Rebecca_Kate14 I love my flats with wide leg trousers - so long as they’re long enough to sit almost touching the floor so they don’t look an odd length!
@Teacherglitter A very good friend of mine had the same conversation with me yesterday. She’s not sure she feels able to do it alone but will try. I know that she, like you, would champion anyone who felt they could. If you feel the whim, go with it!
@Teacherglitter We’re on month 5 of our initial 2 year wait…
Perhaps you and I should plan to go for dinner when our people have been seen; they’ll both be in their 30s by then so they can foot the bill…
So where does one go for support for a school refuser (EBSA) when the school can’t/doesn’t offer outreach, when the county Ed Psych team seemingly ignore your request for info/guidance etc, the GP refers to CAMHS and they tell you to wait 18 months for an initial assessment…?
@geraintjohn_ You’ve got this. Try to remind yourself that there are so, so many people who wouldn’t be able to feel confident enough to do lunch for one full stop, let alone on their grief journey. You should be really proud of yourself x
@thenescalator @MrEFinch Perhaps not something they’ll read over the summer but definitely a conversation about books that shows reading goes far beyond school…?
