The Israeli occupation’s mass bombardment of southern Lebanon continued on September 3 and into September 4, as Israeli warplanes, artillery and ground forces struck a wide area across the south, including the strategic Ali al-Taher ridge, Eastern Zawtar, Mansouri, Wadi al-Salouqi, Wadi al-Hujeir, Bani Hayyan, Houla, Beit Lif, Bar'ashit, Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Al-Qantara, according to local media.

Nearly 1,300 children have been killed or injured by Israel in Lebanon since March, an average of more than seven children per day, according to Save the Children. The invasion displaced more than 1 million people at its peak, with many still unable to return home.
Despite a 'ceasefire' announced on 19 June, around 348,800 people remain internally displaced across Lebanon, while uncertainty persists over their ability to return and their future.
Since 2 March, at least 4,348 people have been killed and 12,300 injured in Israeli airstrikes, including at least 257 children killed and 1,039 injured, according to Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health. At least 355 people have been killed in Israeli airstrikes since the 19 June 'ceasefire' announcement. The latest victim was a child who died on Monday from wounds sustained in a cluster-bomb explosion in southern Lebanon.
In south Lebanon, residents of about 55 border villages continue to face restricted access amid ongoing Israeli attacks and violations. Many have returned to villages where homes and infrastructure were damaged or destroyed, while children continue to face limited access to schools, hospitals and other essential services.
At least 100,000 children are at risk of missing the next school year without urgent action to restore schools. A nationwide assessment by Lebanon’s Ministry of Education and Higher Education found that 340 schools have been damaged or destroyed over the past six months.
Water infrastructure damage has also affected more than 700,000 people in southern Lebanon, while more than 41,000 housing units across the south have been damaged or destroyed.
More Israeli attacks on south Lebanon including in the vicinity of Al-Jabbour and the nearby valley of Wadi Ain al-Tineh. A separate airstrike once again hit Nabatieh al-Fawqa.
The previous attack on the town of Al-Ramadiya resulted in the injury of a paramedic affiliated with the Risala Health Association. Additional Israeli air raids have targeted the town of Mayfadoun, with multiple injuries reported.
