Defibrillator at Lock 55 on the Grand Union Canal @CanalRiverTrust @CRTBoating @canalpubguide @CRTSouthEast

The Rising Sun would like to announce that we now have a working defibrillator attached to the side of the pub, by our cellar doors. The code to access it will be given to anyone who needs to use it by the emergency operator.
We have been able to purchase this defibrillator with money raised by customer donations at our Thursday Quiz Nights. Tring Brewery and Dacorum Decorating Supplies each gave generous donations of £100 each to help get us to the target amount.
Previously, if you lived on George Street you would have to go to Sunnyside Church or The Town Hall to access a defibrillator. So, we have halved the distance between those two locations, which should make it quicker for residents to access a defibrillator , which should help save lives.
Ideally, no one will ever need to use it but it is now available for anyone who needs to use it!
