Hope people enjoy Offkai.
Thought about checking it out this year, but can't due to other IRL obligations.
Missing Tekko this weekend too.
I'd rather be at either one or just staying at home.
I've just been editing photos all day and feeling tired.
But that's my fault for letting my backlog get so big.
Currently editing photos from 2 months ago.
I've decided to remove the problematic tweet in question to avoid further replies, but I'll leave up any existing threads as they were relevant to the overall discussion.
I talked to some friends and I want to apologize for one of the tweets I made.
I made a really unfair comparison between overseas performers and Japanese performers. My sample size is too small for an accurate statement.
I'm sorry for that.
Thanks for the discussion @alexpinku
Man, so much discourse online because I expressed my opinion.
A common sentiment seems to be "watching the idol grow as a fan".
Why can't I do both of watching someone grow AND not liking their current ability?
I'll go see the performances and if I don't like it I'll tune out.
@alexpinku Well, I'm not saying that the whole community is bad. My apologies if that's how it's being interpreted.
But I guess in the end, one of your replies sum it up best as saying that I enjoy more polished performances.

When did I say "mid at best" huh?
What a performer might consider good, I might consider mid. And other times I'll think it's good too.
You haven't seen a performance or musician before and think "that could've been better"?
@alexpinku@Th3rdEye_ Yea I'll go to events sometimes to support friends because they're my friends or because I genuinely think they're a great performer.
I think it's just the difference in standards.
Their good is what I consider mid.
@kchanidol My thoughts aren't based off of one con. I go to multiple cons and events per month. I just so happen to be at one and tweet about it.
So because this one con had a showcase with amazing performers, that means all kaigaidols can sing and perform well?
@dracil Oh yea for sure, there are talented people.
I hope there's more events for everyone to do what they want.
I'm just expressing my personal tastes.
@dracil Yea, I'm not super huge into the wota pit. I'll join sometimes, but I'm not crazy about it either.
I'm mostly there to enjoy the music, but if things don't sound right, it pulls me out of that enjoyment vibe.
