How we behave as a leader can influence our team risk of burnout. Green behaviours mean we are more likely to be a well functioning group taking care of each other. Holiday in the red may be needed as task priority requires but don’t get stuck there and risk your team wellbeing.

@WelshGasDoc A big step foward would be to take the opportunity to invest in critical care nursing. I agree that there should be more HCSWs but not to reduce the 1:1 but to support the bedside nurse. So many benefits to this.
Really like thinking about Energy & emotions. Many of us have worn ourselves out as we have spent longer in Survival mode. Need to regroup & move to right hand side. Important to be in Revive mode too. Focusing on positive emotions when low in energy enables reflection and reset.
