@SGottliebFDA once again, there are over 3 million ppl in the US that use kratom. based on that alone some people who die will have kratom in their system. when its obvious a person died from a heroin/cocaine/benzo cocktail its not really correct to call it a kratom death.

@SGottliebFDA Not to mention at least 2 of the cases are in no way plausable. A woman and her husband were two of the cases reported. The wife hadn't used kratom in 6 months and the husband never had. Kratom was blamed. Just like the homicides, sucides and drug overdoses.

@SGottliebFDA Kratom accounted for 0.01% of this years salmonella cases. its a botanical thats ingested and like all foods carries contamination risks. Still way safer than eggs and thats not even a picture of kratom. good grief .
