I wonder how many of you have actually tried to use AI for art and exercise any sort of control. Because I feel a lot of you have never attempted it in earnest.

Similar to banana on wall, gravity painting and one color canvases… it’s possible to execute only a sliver of choice. AI is the same way. I can use an ai meme template and have nearly zero creative input… but the same can be said with certain forms of traditional art.

As I’ve stated before, I define art as a communication spectrum so for me it’s “is it more or less art” and I’ve definitely have seen some AI works who pass that bar more than traditional art nowadays: the girl swinging around a lamp comes to mind lol.

There is no mind in AI that much is true… but there is also no mind in Photoshop or a Pencil. They are all tools.
