I need to be more like a tree. At the end of a season, shed your old bark. Yes, it may reveal the scars from where other lives have touched yours. But as the bark falls, find another life to help up along the way. Strength comes with growth, so keep reaching up towards the light
@colourconf@bobbiehouston Pt2/2. I felt so alone, desperate. Graciously, my friend wrote down my request & sent me a photo of Bobbie holding them all on Saturday. God answers the prayers of His faithful. Today I found out I got approval for a house! Through my grateful tears, all I can say is THANK YOU!❤️
@colourconf@bobbiehouston Pt1/2 I read this quote & simply prayed “please Lord”. Due to circumstance beyond my control I was honestly scared that I would soon be on the streets with my two dogs. I couldn’t attend Colour, but had a friend there who I asked if she would write a prayer request for me.
When the storm outside the window mirrors the storm within your soul, there’s nothing better than cuddling up with your dog and listening to worship music.
I have discovered if I really need to be left alone to think, sitting in the car in a shopping centre car park works... I may cook on hot days, but no one bothers me 🤣
Highlight of my work day... having a serious chat with a #greentreefrog about the risks associated with living inside a portaloo... after some discussion & a few moments of clingy-ness, we decided alternate living arrangements near the dam might be more appropriate. 🐸
Today, I’m throwing my hands up in the air... I’m done... (if anyone tries to find me, the guard dogs are on duty while I’m hiding in a good book until I fall asleep)
Remembering... even after 18 years the heartache hasn’t left... but I am still grateful for the time we had... never forgotten, always with me. Your life impact my world. Thank you. MRR 😢
