Yeah… that is indeed an issue I hadn’t considered.

Furthermore, someone else raised an important point, namely that Elon obtained substantial benefits with very little investment, yet he used those benefits to develop his own business.

Viewed from this perspective, he is indeed rather self-serving.

Looking back, his past donations of hundreds of millions seem to have been nothing more than a way of whitewashing his superficial benevolence.

This could create an incentive for parents to "stay at home with their children"

Making money isn’t the same as creating wealth.

Selling books and doing the speaking circuit about how other people ought to hand over theirs is just a trade. Right. People buy it.

That’s not the same as building something that actually produces goods, jobs or value.

If that’s the standard, then half the country “creates wealth” every time they cash a cheque.

You’re doing it again. I didn’t say MAGA were saints. I said this ruling is daft on its own.

Clean water’s not a right, the bill still arrives, and slapping “Christian nationalists” and PFAS on every post doesn’t make that any less stupid.

Trump’s lot are a mess. So are half the people who’ve been in charge for decades.

One cartoon villain doesn’t explain a judge saying the constitution doesn’t cover tap water.
