Leahy BTV will hold a full-scale emergency simulation this Saturday, Sept 12, from approximately 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., alongside local, state, and federal emergency response partners.

This FAA-required exercise (conducted every three years) helps test and strengthen emergency response, communication, and coordination at the airport.

Normal airport operations will not be affected. Travelers and community members may notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles and personnel on site. There is no actual emergency taking place.
