So, in the end they didn't made any mention during the NYCC panel. Here's the current outlook:
🎶Tales of Symphonia project (unknown platform/s) will be the first to be announced. Small scale.
⚔️Tales of Destiny DC HD (PS4/5, XBOX S/X, NS, PC) aims for a Q2 2022 release.
Never played Pikmin besides the Pikmin 3 demo. Are Pikmin games too hard? I'm tempted to pick up 3 now with 4 coming up but I want to have a chill time looking at those little guys pick stuff up the ground and moving it around. No stress.
Tune in at 7 a.m. PT tomorrow, 9/13, for a #NintendoDirect livestream featuring roughly 40 minutes of information mostly focused on #NintendoSwitch games launching this winter.

When Xenoblade 2 has lighthearted silly sidequests its cringe but when games like Yakuza do it then it's okay? I don't understand why people choose this game specifically to dog on.
@Shuffle2106 Cadence is different but iterative approach is the same. There isn't any reason to think there will be a Splatoon Galaxy or an Splatoon Epic yarn or anything out there and new for the next one after 3 (and that's OK)
Splatoon is, right now as iterative as CoD, Forza Horizon or Dinasty Warriors.
This is not to throw Splatoon 3 under the bus. But why has Nintendo to wait for "the right fresh idea" to develop F-ZERO, Starfox, Kid Ikarus... But not Splatoon?

When you try to make that comparison you gloss over:
1. How much the game market has grown compared to when those games released. Look at SW sales of N64 VS NS
2. You don't know how much those games costs to make or earn. It's not sales it's ROI what matters
3. Different genres
Well, yes. The games that get made sell something. The games that don't get made sell nothing therefore are not profitable. Indisputable logic all around.
