At its Independence Day Anniversary Parade on 1 July 2026, the Burundi Army showcased 3 Brazilian-made EE-11 Urutu APCs for the very first time. Their configuration (M7) suggests these were originally used by Dubai and supplied to Burundi second-hand by the United Arab Emirates
@HammerOfWar5@tanksenc Note that these are not Qatari-made Storms but APCs made in China and exported to Qatar by Xinxing Xiamen Imp.&Exp. Co. Ltd.
After being replaced by the Stark Motors Storm in Qatari service, these Chinese APCs became redundant and were donated to Somalia
Since the first half of 2026, the GNU-aligned 111 Brigade in Libya has been seen operating UAE-made Secure Armoured Vehicles Waden 4x4 V1. At least 5 were delivered. Various companies from the UAE are now supplying armored vehicles to both the GNU and the LAAF
OTT Puma M36 of the Ghana Army, operated by the 153 Armoured Regiment based at Gondar Barracks, Burma Camp, Accra. Announced at the end of 2024, 14 of these MRAPs were donated by the USA in May 2025
@cwjroberts@BashaReport@inkasvehicles These photos were taken during the withdrawal of the General Security Force (not LNA but GNU-aligned!) from Tripoli in October 2025. They received these vehicles (at least 8) earlier in 2025. AFAIK, the LNA does not operate the Titan V
My latest article, a look into the Emirati-Ukrainian Streit KrAZ Shrek MRAP, including its use in Ukraine and in various Western African states. About 50 were made in total
Streit KrAZ Shrek

The Shrek (Ukr. Π¨ΡΠ΅ΠΊ) was birthed from the cooperation between the Ukrainian company AvtoKrAZ and the elusive Canadian-Emirati company Streit Group.
@cwjroberts@FaisalElsheikh@Abdalqaywm These are all operated by LNA/Haftar-aligned units (although the GNA have been receiving Emirati-made vehicles as well recently). Also note that the RSF vehicles have been crudely overpainted, but they share the same sand-yellow basecoat as the LNA vehicles.
@cwjroberts@FaisalElsheikh@Abdalqaywm I do agree with your assessment. Some interesting details I further noted, is that the related designs fielded in Libya have plates with "20" and "Twenty" mounted on the bodywork (produced in 2024). They also have Turkish-made Petlas tires fitted.
@mmcadaani These vehicles are not a new delivery by TΓΌrkiye. These three are all UAE-made; the Harrow Tygor E2 was already delivered before March 2024 and the two Shell Reynard MRAPs were seen in the Somali military parade last month
On 26 March 2025, the Curaçao Police Corps announced the purchase of 2 Canadian Inkas Hudson APCs. These have been taken into service with the riot police unit (unidat di Riot / Mobiele Eenheid) on 12 January 2026, representing the first armored assets of the Corps
The Emirati-made Magnify Armor APC, a little-known Toyota-based armored vehicle of which about 10 were sold to Indonesian UN peacekeeping forces in Lebanon in 2024. The design has particular similarities with the Emirati Streit Cougar, Inkas LLC Titan-S and Canadian Inkas Hudson
HMAV APC of Egyptian security forces under the Ministry of Interior. An unknown number was delivered by 2018. This design by STI-Steyr has been produced in the UAE by Ultimate Armour Works FZC (affiliated to DAW Automobile Assembly FZCO). It's also used by Burkina Faso and Ghana
The Nigerian Zamfara State Government announced the delivery of 10 Nigerian-made Epail EP2063NG01 (licensed copy of the Chinse CSK-141), and from the UAE 13 Inkas LLC Titan-S, 1 Titan-S 6x6, and 1 Titan-V, totalling 25 vehicles. Inkas vehicles were not earlier in use in Nigeria
Zamfara State launches armored vehicles and surveillance drones to tackle insecurity. The drone featured in the footage was produced by indigenous manufacturer Briech UAS.
An anomaly: in 2016, this Austrian-made 4K 7FA APC was seen in service with the GNA in Libya. In Africa, these were already operated by Nigeria (slightly different configuration) and Morocco maybe received 10 in 1981. The provenance of the GNA vehicle is unknown to me
No later than early 2020, the Angolan Police received at least 2 second-hand Spanish-made Pegaso BLR armored vehicles. Before, this vehicle was only used by Spain and Ecuador. The Angolan Police also operates unarmored Spanish-made Uro Vamtac S3 mobility vehicles
@DavidDetten@RedFighter242 Delivered until the late 1990s were 15 Type 59, ~14 Type 62, 3 PT-76, 25 T-54, 13-15 BRDM-2, 19-20 BTR-152, at least 28 BTR-60PB, ~15 ZSU-23-4, 20 Eland-90, 18 Mamba Mk2, and a few RG-12. I could not yet confirm reported deliveries of 9 Panhard M3, 15 BRDM-1, and T-34
