@sindalott @Hamishmczzz @STVNews You obviously haven't experienced rouge tenants. I know someone who was struggling so spent her rent money on drugs. The landlord was out of pocket and had to evict her. If that was now he wouldn't be able to and would be further out of pocket. Ex's mum, 2009 in Auchinleck.

@ThisisLucie @STVNews Your comments is my exact worry over this. Meanwhile as a landlord you are responsible for repairs but from no rent money being paid and the mortgage still to be paid. It's terrifying, the case of hear or pay rent may arise causing further arrears. Landlords need rights as well.
