I am very sad to hear that David F. Hardwick MD, FRCPC, FCAP has died. An internationally recognized paediatric pathologist, Hardwick was involved with The University of British Columbia for more than sixty years as both a student and professor. I will miss him dearly.

@BCFerries The Salish Orca is 45 minutes late. Why is there no notice about this delay on this feed and why is it indicated as “on time” at the terminal? It is very frustrating, especially for 100+ walk on passengers who were forced to wait outside while the cars were loaded.
@BCFerries Thanks for the response. I’m a nearly weekly customer so I’m aware of the issues. When do you expect the online system to be back up and staff trained. My expectation would be that the 50 new people would be reasonably competent by now, but that is not the case.
@BCFerries The ongoing problems with your online reservations system and excessive phone times are unacceptable. It just took me 15 minutes to make a reservation that should have taken 5, and I had to call at 7am to avoid a 60+ minute wait. What is being done about this?
An elusive man who sells homemade baklava on the streets of Vancouver has become famous for his treats. But Vancouverites don’t know that he was already famous overseas – a champion of human rights in Syria who stood up against the Assad regime. #vanpoli
