@HawkeyeSource Why? It’s not like the heavyweight class is being dominated by people cutting weight to make 285. The best heavyweights today are former 197 pounders. Put them in a 220 pound class, and heavyweight starts to look pretty thin.
@1992Pirates I once saw Randy Johnson throw a 94 mile an hour slider straight at a left handed batter that the batter baled on and thought was going to hit him and then it broke completely across the plate to the opposite batters box.
@DC_Draino Obviously, you agree that there is a major cause for concern here that you are trying to minimize. — or you wouldn’t be presenting your data to make it look like a 15% loss is more like 1.5%
@MTorriero It seems like Missouri has developed a ton of all-Americans from high school wrestlers ranked well outside the top 8 in their weights. (Of course they’ve also done well with a few top recruits)
@jemelehill If security screening fails at a football game (or shopping mall?) then the people at those venues are at risk. But if screening fails on an airplane the people at risk are on the ground, in our skyscrapers, in the Pentagon, or elsewhere.
@notgaetti@baseball_ref@Stathead@Reds@MLBNetwork @zachinpractice @Johnsense38 @LibrarianJoe_ @CodifyBaseball@OriolesStatist1 This is a really misleading way of looking at this data. If I hit 30 home runs and stole 30 bases in 30 days, that would be astronomically impressive. But it’s not “going 30/30 in 90 days 61 times” just because there are 61 distinct 90 day periods containing those same 30 days.
