Our #nursery children learnt about the Act of Remembrance and understood why poppies are linked with #ArmisticeDay. They were fascinated to see cherished items from our building’s history when it served as the “#Dagenham Branch” of the Royal British Legion.🎖️🌺#RemembranceDay2023

Yesterday the whole country celebrated the national holiday of St. George's day, the patron saint of England! ❤️
Our children have created their own flags of England, played with toy dragons, and learned other symbols related to St. George's identity ⚔️

Last Saturday, the 1st of April, we had our Nursery & After School Club open day! 👋✨ We have had lots of activities for the children that came, and most excitingly... They got to see and hold our newly hatched baby chicks! 😱🐤

Our chicken eggs have arrived! 🥚❤️

We received the eggs in an incubator, and soon the chicks will start hatching, which will be a wonderful experience for our children to see! 🐣

It was with sadness that we learnt of the death of The Queen 👑. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.We give thanks for a long life well lived, and for her unfailing duty to our Country. Thoughts are with our new King, and all the members of the Royal Family at this sad time.
