⭐Celebrating 30 Years of LEAPS ⭐
On this day in 1996...the LEAPS Declaration of Partnership was signed, in support of the widening participation work of LEAPS.
Thank you to all our partners and supporters over the years who have helped us - and who continue to help us - to encourage and advise young people who are underrepresented in higher education. We couldn't do it without you! 🤩
Wishing you all a happy new year!🎉
LEAPS-eligible students, the LEAPS team is back at work. Please get in touch if we can help you with any queries about college or university.

🌏World Access to Higher Education Day 📚
Today marks a global day of action dedicated to raising awareness of inequalities in access to and success in higher education. To recognise the day, ACSES is involved in a number of events.
Earlier today, EPHEA (Equity Practitioners in Higher Education), UTS Centre for Social Justice & Inclusion, and ACSES, hosted a compelling three-part online event. In this series of online panel sessions, speakers explored student equity from global, national, and local perspectives, highlighting the shared challenges and innovations.
The Global session "Student equity across boarders", featuring ACSES Executive Director @prof_saggar , was pre-recorded and is available to watch now. This session brings together international experts to explore higher education equity across regions, sharing lessons from Africa, the UK, and globally to inform policy, practice, and advocacy.
💻 Watch the session here: https://t.co/cc4uRHwExc
Recordings from the other sessions will be shared when available.
Later today, Professor Shamit Saggar will also be participating in the World Access to Higher Education Day Conference 2025 in Cape Town.
