@silkyplaymaker Intonation when speaking about a list of things is pretty much the same in every language, he just knows when to pause because that is how he says it in his first language.
@oddezny@Jacobtheclipper I understand that. But that penalty absolutely changed the game. Spain is the worst team to go 1-0 down against bc they can just go straight into their possession ball, the rest of the game showed they were the superior team. That second goal proved it
@jackie_chiles1@Jacobtheclipper So Yamal scores or assists a goal 80% of the time when he touches the ball in the box? Punishment doesn’t fit the crime. Goals are too valuable in this sport to be given so easily. A free kick just outside the box would be a better solution
@jackie_chiles1@Jacobtheclipper If Yamal had the ball and was aiming at goal about to shoot it and then got fouled, you would have a point. But that didn’t happen here
@Phraxas52@Jacobtheclipper It creates constant controversy, there is always something that should have went their way. Constant chatter. I can see how they get swept up in it
@oddezny@Jacobtheclipper I understand that but it makes for an extremely volatile sport, and it makes it so that the best team isn’t always rewarded. Much is gained and lost with each call
@spencer_smoked@AndersPicks Let’s use our brains for a minute here, i know it may be tough…in soccer, a foul gives a team basically the equivalent of 50 points in basketball. Nobody said ignore the rules. But the rules are incredibly flawed
@coreyob13@AndersPicks Except it isn’t the same. This is a 50/50 ball at the edge if the box where a guy just throws his body in there out of control, elbows the ball, and gets rewarded for it. Not a goal-scoring opportunity
