I was disappointed but that’s more how I felt. I still totally respected the decision.

I didn’t feel the need to bring anything to anyone’s attention. All the contenders were publicly available in the comments for anyone to review them carefully, and the team had clearly seen mine as I was one of the first replies and I even received feedback.
