Progress at the bargaining table has been "painstakingly slow” & “unbelievably frustrating,” says @OECTAPrez, calling on the Ford govt to provide more, & consecutive, bargaining dates to reach a fair deal for #CatholicTeachers & #onted students. #onpoli

A deadly Sydney funnel-web spider dubbed “Hercules,” found in Australia, has been declared the largest male specimen of the world’s most venomous arachnid. https://t.co/3J9Umg9PyZ
Today, my daddy had to let me go. I had such a wonderful time at my party on Sunday, but it was time to go. I had a fever that night after coming home, and dad kept a close eye on me. I had lots of water and rest, but by Monday night I was losing control of my bladder. Tuesday morning dad and I went to the hospital to see if it was something that could easily be fixed with antibiotics.
The doctor checked my blood levels and found out that my red blood cells and planets had plummeted again. RBC was at 28% two weeks ago, increasing, but was 12% today. Platelets were 29k two weeks ago but were only 7k today. Ironically, my white blood cell count was increasing. But the doctors normally would tell my dad that I was not in pain and they had lots of options - today, they told him I was in pain.
That's when dad made the decision. The only way to save me was with tons of money for a very short term solution. We did that once, and it only lasted two weeks. So today, my dad made the most painful decision of his life.
It's ok. Don't worry. I feel better now. There's no more pain, and dad will be ok. After I went to sleep, he removed my collar and he's wearing it on his wrist like a wristband. He is hurting, but he promised me he will rescue another beagle to honor me.
I want to thank you all, so very very much, from the bottom of my heart. You've been a wonderful family to me, and my dad will never forget you. He's going to continue posting pictures and memories of our time together. Without you guys, I wouldn't have made it this far. The doctors gave me 50 days after diagnosis. Your love and generous donations gave me 11 months.
I love you all. Thank you.
The nights before Christmas are the longest of the year. However, the day has already begun to lengthen and the light has begun to prevail. The light grows stronger. Day by day and step by step, the darkness retreats.
Darkness will eventually lose. Evil will be defeated.
Today, this is our common goal, our common wish, and what we pray for.
For our freedom. For our victory. For our Ukraine.
Christ is Born! Glorify Him!
#CatholicTeachers offered 20+ bargaining dates for January and February, and have only received 3 dates so far from @Sflecce’s side of the table.
We don’t need a miracle. Just give us the dates to get a deal done that supports all #onted students and teachers. #onpoli
Yesterday was such a big day! It is an honour to back up Jeremy Hansen on the #Artemis II mission. I can’t wait to work on defining and developing the procedures and architecture required for humanity’s return to the Moon. Learn a bit more about me:
