Statement📢 The #LEARNproject consortium has decided to leave the X platform and fully focus its efforts on LinkedIn, which provides a more enriching environment for science dissemination and bigger opportunities for stakeholder engagement. Follow us on https://t.co/5I2F3uo5JT
🎬 The #LEARNproject is carrying out cohorts at European #schools to analyse exposure to #airpollutants, their effects on children's health and cognition, and the impact of #filtration technologies.
Discover how they work in our new video below!
Happy #EuropeDay 🇪🇺 Discover the key role of #EUfunding in supporting R&I initiatives with high societal impact, like the #LEARNproject. Access the full interview with our coordinator from @INLnano at 🔗https://t.co/waY4tT5iws
📑 Researchers from @INLnano have reported, for the 1st time, that the excitation of optical anapoles states can be achieved at the UV-A wavelength range. This means a step forward towards the development of novel sensors in the #LEARNproject. https://t.co/RiOSkvJfq6
💻 We recently participated in the latest webinar of @ediaqi_project, where our partner MANN+HUMMEL presented how they are optimising #filtration and adsorption technologies for the schools participating in the #LEARNproject cohorts: https://t.co/U59cPa2lLa #airquality
Nearly all of the projects in the @IDEAL_CLUSTER are working with #sensors as an #IndoorAirQuality monitoring tool🧐
👉In the working group 5 session, we have heard about a number of (low-cost) #sensors for measurements of #VOCs, ultra-fine particles, #PM10 etc. to assess #IAQ
Last but not least, Ana Ribeiro (@INLnano) has just presented the @IDEAL_CLUSTER progress regarding #invitro models, as well as the skin-on-a-chip and multi-sensing approaches for #airpollutants developed in the #LEARNproject. Stay tuned to our communication channels for more 👍
📍We are in the @IDEAL_CLUSTER Annual Meeting, hosted by our coordinator @INLnano in Braga, Portugal. Ernesto Alfaro-Moreno has just presented the progress of the #LEARNproject to our sister projects. Stay tuned for more👍
Our coordinator Ernesto Alfaro-Moreno (@INLnano) has just presented the preliminary results from the #LEARNproject cohorts at schools in Belgium, where we measured the state of indoor #airquality and its impact on children's health and cognition. Stay tuned for our final results!
We've just heard some of @IDEAL_CLUSTER's communication success stories from working group 3:
🍃 @ediaqi_project Webinar series, Wiki, and AI chatbot

👨👩👦👦 Citizen science in schools with @InChildHealthEU
Our webinar with @ediaqi_project on #ventilation and #filtration strategies has just started! A. Borg is introducing the panellists, among which is our colleague Andreas Scope from MANN+HUMMEL. We are excited to hear all their insights! Follow it on this thread 👇👇

"When developing air filtration solutions for schools, it has been a challenge to find a balance between best performance and cost affordability and energy efficiency. But even affordable filters, combined with good ventilation, can make a big difference." A. Scope (MANN+HUMMEL)
