In 2015 (age 26) I started a meetup (@LearnToCodeLA) to help me learn to code "for real". Quit my job, did freelance web dev & started my own mini coding school. 4 yrs later (age 30 ๐ช), just got my first "real" tech job at Sentry (#devrel) thx to a friend I made via my meetups!
So excited to speak at @WriteSpeakCode next month! ๐ฅณ My talk is on the conf website now! https://t.co/KF7w0Erujr

So excited to be speaking at @abstractionscon!!! My talk will be deeply personal, so it'll be an interesting experience to share emotions onstage.
