This Deaf Awareness Week, students at the University of Manchester relied only on lip reading while wearing ear defenders 👂 A simple challenge that revealed how easily communication barriers can impact confidence and connection.

Three of our #PLPrimaryStars partner schools had the pleasure of working with England Visually Impaired footballer Azeem Amir in a workshop at the Accu Stadium for International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Azeem led a session where our visitors had to complete a series of tasks whilst having their senses restricted to raise awareness of the challenges faced by those with disabilities.
