@jay_trueheart@drbulentdogan I made a professional Twitter account for this class since I felt my personal account can alter someone's view of me and affect my professionalism and I like to be taken seriously regardless of what any of my personal views are. It's easy to have your professional life affected.
@Nicholas_T55 I use Class Dojo in my classroom and it's so great to help with classroom management and keeping parents in the loop by posting videos and pictures! It's great to use with younger students who don't have access to use Twitter. Helping keep the parents AND students involved.
@drbulentdogan Also yes my workplace which is a school has a social media guideline that they follow. I know the district and schools in the district are pretty active on twitter. Part of the guideline mentions how specific comments can be removed if they involve the following.
@drbulentdogan Yes! Schools should have a social media policy for their students and staff to avoid any misuse of the outlets that can lead to serious issues.
@LeannaLee101019 I utilize Youtube in my classroom as well! I'm big on using Crash Course and including them into my science lessons. My students love their videos.
@drbulentdogan Q1: Social media is used to help keep students and educators connected along with allowing more e-learning opportunities helping advance students' technology skills. #CUIN6320
@drbulentdogan A3: Aside from different social media outlets like TikTok and Instagram where I follow a lot of different teachers. I tend to stick to the district's educational technology always reading up on them, watching YouTubes, and simply messing around with the sites. #CUIN6320
@drbulentdogan A4: GoogleClassroom/Seesaw, with virtual learning and students needing to be tech-savvy. I want to learn more about how to utilize GoogleClassroom/Seesaw and especially learn how to make online assignments on those sites for my students. #CUIN6320
@MissBhimani @DanielBCas @MissBhimani @DanielBCas I love collaborating with other teachers! When I first started teaching I wanted to do everything and didn't know how to reach out to others, it gets exhausting but I'm glad we have PLC at our school it really helps with all the teachers collaborating.
