I was on a hospital bed when I finished my thesis.

I submitted my thesis fresh a few days after my operation, a few days before I was re-admitted and diagnosed with pulmonary embolism.

They are even horrible in the hospital to us colleagues, especially if you're not a doctor. Somehow expect us to bow down to them. Don't respect other health and medical professionals. I've been emotionally harassed by a male doctor before simply because I am a Medical Scientist.
