NEWS REPORT: The Government of Eritrea has officially confirmed the appointment of Ambassador Abdella Musa as the country's new Minister of Regional Administration. State media reported that Ambassador Abdella Musa, who previously served as Administrator of the Anseba Region, has formally assumed the position, marking the transfer of responsibilities within one of Eritrea's most influential government ministries. The confirmation came during coverage of a national education meeting, where he participated in his new capacity and reaffirmed Eritrea's long-standing commitment to education while emphasizing the role of regional administrations in expanding access to pre-primary education. The official announcement provides long-awaited confirmation of a senior government appointment that had not previously been formally announced.

SAUDI ARABIA — 🇸🇦 🤝 🇪🇷 Under the supervision of the Consul General of the State of #Eritrea in Jeddah, Mr. Abdulrahman Osman, the Eritrean Community in Jeddah and its surrounding areas has signed a medical cooperation agreement with Al Saqqaf Eye Center to provide specialized eye care services to all Eritrean citizens.

The services will be offered through an approved referral system and under the facilities and terms agreed upon in the contract signed by both parties.

Representing the Eritrean community at the signing ceremony was Mr. Abdulqader Malik, Chairman of the Community.

Representing Al Saqqaf Eye Center were Mr. Abdul Salam Bakharees, Operations Manager, and Mr. Sharif Mashali, Director of Relations and Partnerships.

Also in attendance was Mr. Ahmed Jaafar, Head of Public Affairs for Eritreans in Saudi Arabia.

The agreement will come into effect on July 1, 2026.

ጥቅሙ ለአካባቢያችን ሕዝቦችም ጭምር ነው!

የኤርትራና የኣሜሪካን ግንኙነት መሻሻል ክሁለትዮሽ ዝምድና መሻሻል ባሻገር ኣካባቢያዊ አንደምታ የሚኖረው መሆኑ ግልጽ ነው። ምክንያቱም የአሜሪካ የተሳሳቱ ፖሊሲዎች በቀጠና���ን ያስከተለው ጉዳትም ይሁን ያወረደው በደል፡ ኤርትራንና በኤርትራ ብቻ የታጠረ ስላልሆነ። በሌላ ኣነጋገር ኤርትራን በሚመለከት ኣሜሪካ የተከተለችው የውጭ ፖሊሲ እርማት ፥በተፈጸሙት ስሕተቶች ሲታመስ ለቆየው ኣካባቢያችን፡ ምንም እንኳ ዓቀብ ቁልቁለት ቢኖረውም፡ ወደ እርጋታና መተጋገዝ የሚያመራ ፡ ከቀውስ ኣዙሪት ሊያገላግል የሚችል ምቹ ሁኔታ የማምጣት ዕድል ኣለው።

የእገዳ ኣለንጋና ሌሎች መሰናክሎችም ኤርትራንና መሰሎቿን ብቻ ኣይደለም የጎዳው። እነዚያ እንደ መልህቅና ኣደግዳጊዎች ተቆጥረው፡ በዚህም “ያተረፉ” የመሰላቸው ሃገራትም በውስጥም ይሁን ከጎረቤቶቻቸው ኣሕዛብ ጋር በግጭትና በትርምስ ከመኖር በቀር ���ላም ኣላገኙም፡ ዕድገትም ኣላረጋገጡም። ባጭሩ ያፈ��ት ኣንዳችም ትርፍ የለም። ከመጎዳታቸው በስተቀር። ይበልጥ እንኳ ካለ ባላና ድጋፍ እራሱን ችሎ የማይቆም ጥገኛ ስርዓት መስርተው፡ የሕዝባቸውን ወኔ ገድለው፡ ባጭር ግዜ ውስጥ የማይታረም መዘዝና፡ ተመጽዋችነትን ኣስተናግደው ፡ ውርደትን ነው የሸመቱት። ስለዚህ “እምቢና” “እሺ” ያለው በእኩልነት ጉዳት ቢደርስበትም፡ “እምቢ” ያለው ግን ቢያንስ ቢያንስ ክብሩን ኣሳልፎ ኣልሰጠም።

ዛሬ ፡ የኤርትራና የአሜሪካ ግንኙነት ጥሩ ኣቅጣጫ በመያዝ ላይ ነው። ተስፋ ሰጪ እድገትም ኣያሳየ ነው፡ “በኤርትራ ላይ የተጣለው ኢ-ፍትሓዊ እገዳ ሊነሳ ነው፥” የሚሉና ሌሎች ዜናዎችም ስለተሰሙ ብቻ ሆዳቸውን ባር ባር ያላቸውና የተጨነቁ ቡድኖ��ና ግለሰቦች መታየታቸውና መሰማታቸው፡ ክአሜሪካ ተጻራሪ ፖሊሲ ጥቅም ለማግኘት የሚያነፈንፉ፡ ግንኙነቱ እንዳይሻሻል ሲወራረዱ የቆዩ የፖለቲካ ነጋዴዎችና የግጭት ደላሎች ናቸው። ከጠባብ ጥቅማቸው በቀር የኣካባቢያችን ሰላምና እርጋታ ለነሱ ምናቸውም ኣይደለም።

“ብልጽግና” በጭንቀት ውስጥ ከተዘፈቁት ውስጥ ኣንዱ ኣብነት ነው። ሊያገኘው የሚመኘው የማይጨበጥ ሕልሙ፥ ሰግዶና ኣጎብድዶ በሌሎች ዓቅም ላይ ተመርኩዙ ሊተገብረው የሚፈልገው ፡ ቢያንስ በስልጣን ለመቆየት ፡ ሀገሪቱን ለጨረታ ኣውርዶ ሊያንሰራራ ስለሚያስብ ሊያጣላና ሊወሻክት ላይ ታች ማለቱን ኣልተወም። ኤርትራን የአሜሪካን ቆሌ ኣይወዳቸውም ከሚላቸው ሓይሎች ጋር ለማገናኘት የሓሰት “ክሶችን” ለመፈብረክ እንቅልፍ እጥቶ እንደሚያድር ግልጽ ነው። ይሄ ከሱ በፊት የነበሩትን የኣዲስ ኣበባ ስርዓቶች ኣ���ጠቀመም፥ ብሎም ኣላዳነም።

ኣሁንም “ብልጽግና፥ በዚያ ጭቃ ውስጥ መንደፋደፍን ቢመርጥና ፡ በኣቡዳቢ ኣማላጅነትም ዕንቅፋት ሊፈጥር ቢሞክርም ፡ ከበፊተኞች ዕድል የተለየ ውጤት ሊያመጣ ኣይችልም። የኣካባቢያችን ሕዝቦች ጽኑ ፍላጎት ግን ሰላም ስለሆነ፡ ከኤርትራና ከኣሜሪካን ግንኙነት መሻሻል የሰላም ድርሻ ተካፋዮች የመሆን ተስፋ ኣላቸው።
