ここ最近でFFシリーズを１からぶっ通してる僕なりの意見をまじめに言いますね。
FF16はFFシリーズとして認めないというお便りが凄く来ます。
FF16が自分の好みではない、という意見は当然あっていいと思います。

ただ、アクションだからFFではない、従来と違うからFFではない、という主張にはあまり説得力が無いと思ってます。
なぜなら、変わり続けること自体が、最初からFFというシリーズの特徴だったからです。

FF1で王道のレベル制RPGとパーティー編成を作った直後、FF2ではそれを捨てて熟練度制を採用しました。
FF3ではジョブチェンジを中心��し、FF4では自由なジョブ変更をやめて、キャラクター固有の役割とATBを導入。
FF5では再びジョブを発展させ、FF6では固有能力と魔石育成へ変わりました。

その後も同じです。
FF7のマテリアはFF8でジャンクションへ変わり、FF10ではCTB、FF11とFF14はMMORPG、FF12はガンビット、FF13はオプティマ、FF15はアクション寄りのオープンワールド、そしてFF16は本格的なアクションRPGになりました。
評価されたシステムであっても、次回作でそのまま使わない。
毎回世界観も戦闘も成長システムも作り直し、その時代における新しいRPGを目指す。
それがFFの歴史かなと僕は解釈してます。

だから、FF16が従来作と違うことは、FFではない根拠にはなりません。
むしろ、前作の形に留まらず、大きく変化したこと自体が非常にFFらしい。

もちろん、コマンドバトルの方が好きだった、パーティー操作が欲しかった、RPG要素が薄く感じた、という批判は分かります。
それは作品に対する具体的な評価です。

でも、自分の好きだったFFと違うことと、FFではないことは別です。
FF16は、クリスタ��、召喚獣、国家同士の争い、仲間との旅、世界の命運を背負う物語といったFFの要素を受け継ぎながら、それを現代のアクションRPGとして表現した作品です。
FFとは、特定の戦闘システムを守り続けるシリーズではありません。
毎回変わりながら、その時代のファイナルファンタジーを作り続けるシリーズです。

だからFF16を好きではないと言うのは自由です。
ただ、変わったからFFではないと言うなら、それはFFが最初から歩んできた歴史そのものを否定することになります。
