The #TheAcolyte cancellation is deserved—not because of 'wokeness’, which I fully support, but because of poor writing and production. The casting was a highlight, but the actors and Star Wars fans deserve fresh, well-executed ideas, not recycled plot devices.
After 2 eps, #TheAcolyte is underwhelming. It’s not about being ‘woke’; casting is solid, especially Stenberg. The real issue is amateur writing and lack of Star Wars knowledge. The super lazy premise, hollow characters, and cheap costumes/makeup disappoint.
@lostmymeeples Im gunna have to disagree with you on this. As more and more reviewers seem to just be paid advertising having a channel giving honest reviews for potential buyers is a important. Critiquing the quality of wood you chose isn’t what I would call ‘scathing’ but fair.
@trzewik I’m talking about a full sequel, and not spin offs, one shot scenarios or rethemes. The original detective is what people loved. It really is one of the best BG experiences I’ve had. Would just love another campaign in the original setting and I know I’m not alone.
Rishi Sunak wanting the UK to join Russia & Belarus outside of the European Convention on Human Rights should put the country in a state of shock - If you watch just one thing today make it this

The LAPD murdered Keenan Anderson. A beloved high school English teacher and father who FLAGGED THEM DOWN FOR HELP after a car accident. He was a threat to no one. He needed help and it cost him his life. The LAPD must be held accountable for this at all costs. #KeenanAnderson
