Last week we facilitated 24 conversation over 2 days with all of the 6th graders at LMS. We focused on being kind to each other & steps to prevent bullying. We are making a difference one difficult conversation at a time!

Transgender Day of Visibility was founded by transgender woman Rachel Crandall-Crocker on March 31st, 2009. She spread the word online about Trans Day of Visibility to have a day to enjoy being trans and unite trans people worldwide where they would not have to feel lonely.

We went down to Fitch yesterday to meet with their MTW group. Had an engaging discussion identifying priority issues of concern at both schools and brainstorming solutions. Moving forward one conversation at a time!

Heavy, heavy workshop today with Fitch, Ledyard, and New London MTWs. Topic was helping NL bring 120 middle schoolers up to the high school next year. I am so proud of our MTWs students. They are so caring and wise! Adults need to listen to them more.

Educating our community and answering questions at the Music Holiday Market last Saturday. Kind of cool teaching older generations. Baby steps, but progress!!
