@Oxford_Life@AnnaLongthorp Because he created a rural business which attracts a lot of people. The attendants ensure the free flow of traffic into the site by directing them to park and stop queues backing up onto the A361. It’s not uncommon at large rural events but he created a permanent ‘event’
@JamesWong66@21percentgroup It’s not that. There are academics in computer science working with industry doing very practical things. Typically you aren’t even allowed to manage the software on your own laptop. As for installing a different operating system, forget it.
@odavies9 The fact that I have documents referring to REF2027 when it’s now called REF2029, or that, more than half way through the ‘assessment’ period, there are still changes to what is being assessed under research culture does suggest it’s a bit flaky.
@Tommopotter7@jamesaknight Strongly agree. Look at early rounds of FA Cup, Trophy etc. You will find teams ejected for (accidentally) playing ineligible players and the losing team advanced. Southampton’s offence was deliberate and specifically banned by the rules (after the Leeds case).
@onesamaaron Scarborough could play Worksop. Much closer than Morecambe who could play a NW club. Presumably Darlo vs Hebburn and S. Shields vs Spennymoor would be suggested by the police.
@thematrixb0t This is nonsense. It is a congestion charging scheme to discourage use of particular toutes at certain times. Residents can get some passes for free journeys but they are not prevented from leaving at all as if it were some kind of open air prison.
@KeruboSk Me, 51. My grandfather was born in 1898 and I did talk to him when I was very young. He was a WWI veteran (although I was much too young to discuss that!)
@HarryDinsdale_@Charlotte_N_P Kidderminster away +2, Bedford away +2 (with Main pen equaliser in 89th minute) and they’re just the ones I was at. Also Leamington 86th minute Maskell winner.
@Matthew82730040@Official_Darlo For me the last minute Scarborough winner was the key. We would be ahead of them (and Merthyr) on goal difference so it would still be in our hands. Anyway let’s still hope we can do it relying on others.
@xxChessMaster Forces black NxQa7, white Nb6+, Kb8, NxRd7+, (black King escapes), and NxQe6. White has 3 right side pawns and knight to remove black h5 and promote one or more.
@KolonelKernel@Pirat_Nation Not even. Adults _pretending_ to do something that wouldn’t even be illegal if real because they wouldn’t be blood relatives. Seems irrational.
@unionjackspirit@sophielouisecc But they already worked in exchange for those things. Do you propose to compensate them for their losses or is it simply confiscating it?
@P_Whittingham@sophielouisecc The real question is why the private sector schemes were allowed to deteriorate. Final salary must be very rare now anyway but why don’t you want defined benefit where the benefit is proportional to the contribution? In the public sector contributions can exceed 35% of total comp
@LoftusSteve So if you pay in for your retirement you get penalised but if you don’t and spend your income you get more. Sounds like a policy for encouraging irresponsibility.
