I'm not always a guaranteed fan of the Booker winners, Flesh however is cut from the finest cloth.

I could've read it in a single sitting, but had to put it down twice because the plot was having such an emotional impact on me.

So much has been said about Slaughter House 5, that I can't add any truly original insight to the discussion.

My only suggestion to people considering reading it: don't just read it once. there's message beneath the motive here, and hidden right in plain sight.

Im not going to brick The Secret of Secrets. Im sure people will like/loath it. Id suggest its (at best) 200 pages to long, and moves further away from what made DB early thrillers compelling.

It was fine for a e-book read on the train to work / home this week. So that's grand.
