Today marks the start of #learningdisabilityweek across the UK, asking one vital question: "Do you see me?"
With 1.5M people in the UK living with a learning disability, too many feel hidden. Let’s ensure everyone is truly seen, heard, included, and valued.

☀️ 9-13 Tuesday Club had a Summer sensory session exploring ice sensory trays, making sunshine and ice creams using paper plates.

As usual, soft play and outside were popular places to be!

Friday Club: Game on!

Friday Club enjoyed a games night playing pool, table football, board games and games on the Wii.
They also spent time outside in the evening sunshine!

Super Sibs went head-to-head in a quiz night this week, tackling picture rounds on iconic logos to favourite biscuits and sports equipment. A tabletop logo grab game and time in soft play and outside topped off a great evening of fun!

⭐ Super Sibs had a great time at @WestLeedsActiv 

⭐ They raced go-karts, playing games like red light green light, football and basketball, and finished by competing to see who could slide the farthest down the water slide.

☀️ 14-18s Tuesday Club had a Summer sensory session!

🍦 They made sunshine paper plates and decorated paper ice creams.

🧊 They explored sensory trays of ice and jelly and enjoyed the sunshine outside.

Our new Parent & Carer Coffee Corner starts on 10th June, a friendly, relaxed meet up for parents & carers of children/young people with a learning disability, autism & other complex needs. An opportunity to connect & have some 'me' time. No booking required.

Our 13-18s had lots of fun at playscheme this week. There was science fun, outdoor play and time in the sensory room!
