Multiply and Screen layer modes make the coloring process much easier because they can simulate the watercolor transparent layer effect.

The artboard feature in photoshop is outstanding when I need to work with multiple paintings, as storyboards or making thumbnails to provide many choices without losing the image's resolution. After, I can export all the artboards into separate files to work with individually.

Some plant designs. Now it is much easier for me to add complex patterns like leaf/ fruit veins on the art, by making patterns of these things, then adding them to the object using warp, and refining with brush and smudge tool.
