🚨JUST IN: Trump got a mixed reaction at the National Championship game, but there were plenty of boos.
And ESPN knew exactly what time it was, they got him off screen fast and reportedly didn’t even put him on the jumbotron.
Even sports can’t hide the stench anymore.
@aaron_breitman For me play out the rest of the season see how it plays out. I think if Greg is still here he needs to find a new DC. I am also open to giving Schiano one more go with the new AD and president who seems to be all on supporting sports at Rutgers.
@RutgersRant a bit frustrated that Rutgers hasn't had a signature win against a ranked team. I really think the rest of this season and next season is a make or break it year for the program. It's time for team to take a step forward.
@JJetsX Definitely not had a head coach. Though his bravado was interesting and entertaining, the organization failed to develop Sanchez and realized on some of the great picks from the previous regime. If the next hc wanted him as dc I would be open to it.
@RutgersRant@StevePoliti@briannnnf@PatLanniNJ "There"= establishing Rutgers as a consistent mid tier B1G team that can beat top tier teams when those teams have a down year. Also a team whose down year is a .500 season: consistently making bowl games
@RutgersRant for me "there" is that Rutgers established itself as a mid tier B1G team that can upset top tier B1G teams when those team are having a down year consistently. Also ensuring that a down year would be a .500 season.
Not sure fans realize how good @ChrisNwuli is. Outstanding fit for @RutgersMBB.
Chose #Rutgers over Arizona State, Louisville and Ohio State among others. Huge pick up.
@SamWillard93 Injuries can't be an excuse for the team to have the floor shattered. UCLA was also riddled with injuries. I wasn't expecting the same level of defense if the starters were healthy, but there was a clear issues in tackling every game this season even with the starters.
@RutgersRant if the team misses a bowel game this year and finish below .500 will Rutgers fire Greg schiano? If this happens it should be a serious consideration.
@jonnew I do agree NIL money is a big factor for the program but, Schiano always prided himself in getting lesser players to perform at a higher level. He has for the senior starters; the problem lies with the next players up. They are not ready to play. this big dropoff is unacceptable
@BarstoolRU Tbh Schiano over estimated his depth in key positions. Next man up doesn't work if you don't have a player who can play. I also think that there have been coaching miscues as well in all three losses. defense regressed. The defense was supposed to be the identity of the team.
@OTB_SBNation Definitely time to panic. No more wins I can see the rest of the season especially with this level of play. Unfortunately just play out the season and I think it maybe time to look for something after Schiano. Though Idk who.
@aaron_breitman We are off the rails. The schedule doesn't get any easier down the stretch. If the team misses a bowl game & falls below.500 is it time to put an end to Schiano 2.0?
@CFBTalkDaily Definitely agree he stabilized the program and did a good job in recruiting. However this season has shown me the team doesn't have the depth to compete against other mid tier D1 programs. Idk who could take the program out of the basement.
