Eminent Domain Horror in Arizona
ASU is using eminent domain to seize an 89 year old man’s 124 year old home that he’s owned for 50 years. He turned down their $850k offer. Now they’re forcing him out. Just an old man living in peace and the government can still take it.
This is terrifying.
Gov Beshear's record investments are flying high, straight to Iowa, because that's where the economy is going, right? Wrong, report says Kentucky's economy is 2nd worst in the US, innovation is a pipe dream and startups don't stand a chance. Gov Beshear jets off to campaign while families suffer and economy tanks. Kentucky has the 2nd worst state economy in US, report finds. 2nd worst nationally, dead last in startups, high-tech jobs & innovation.
Kentucky's Superintendent of the Year and a top-three finalist for national Superintendent of the Year was just fired/quit after he emailed a demand at 3 a.m. that he be allowed to quit his job and still be paid for one year. He said he couldn't take how mean everyone was being about his inability to manage money.
Both teachers' unions won't defend him because he was so awful.
It makes you wonder just how horrible the rest of the nation's superintendents are if one of the top ones is this bad.
🚨 Breaking: University officials are refusing to turn over documents related to their travels to the Cayman Islands, a place known for financial secrecy and fraud.
Beth Musgrave at the Herald-Leader reports that Executive Vice President for Finance and Administration Eric Monday and General Counsel William Thro traveled to the Cayman Islands in 2023 and 2024.
That alone raises some eyebrows, but now they are refusing to release any documents requested through open records laws in connection with those trips.
UK’s defense is that Insure Blue — the University of Kentucky’s medical malpractice insurer, which UK also owns — is based in the Cayman Islands. Cayman law requires the board of Insure Blue to meet in person there twice a year.
So a state government entity (UK) owns an LLC in the Cayman Islands (a place known for money laundering) in order to avoid the regulatory and tax laws of its own government.
No matter how you cut it, this is pretty messed up.
🚨NOW: Rep. Thomas Massie just stood on the House floor and named what every politician in DC has spent 58 years pretending did not happen
The USS Liberty. June 8, 1967.
34 dead American sailors. 174 wounded. Over 70% casualty rate on a virtually unarmed US ship.
25 minutes of Israeli jets, Israeli rockets, Israeli 30mm cannon fire, and ISRAELI NAPALM ON THE BRIDGE. Then Israeli torpedoes. Then Israel machine-gunned the lifeboats.
MASSIE: "They were intent on leaving no survivor."
Then the part nobody wants you to think about: the Saratoga and the America launched planes to help. The planes were RECALLED. The crew sat there bleeding for 17 hours.
Dean Rusk. Richard Helms. Admiral Moaner. The chief counsel of the Court of Inquiry himself. None of them believed the "mistaken identity" story.
And now you understand exactly why the entire DC machine and Israel lobby has spent the last year trying to primary this man out of existence.
You are not allowed to say the quiet part. He said it anyway.
Honor the crew. https://t.co/XuDLeFF4gJ.
@CB618444 It is the debasement of currency effecting the economy & not the lifestyle. The lifestyle (which is grossly exaggerated & highly generalized) exists because of social engineering & frustration. There are other root causes, not the fault of the American people or their habits.
