I know my risk. I stay informed. I focus on what I can control: sleep, stress, movement, nutrition, connection, and purpose.
None are guarantees—but they give us agency.
Science is moving. Hope isn’t wishful thinking—it’s a strategy.
That’s part of why I created @LeezasCareCafe : a place for answers, community, and support when worry becomes reality.

Think about how you want to be as an older version of yourself. I want to be like Will. I met him in Dallas where he lives at Presbyterian Village North. He told me he used to be a good dancer "because his mom made him go to Cotillion ". He said he could show me, and just like that, he did! Today, Will likely doesn't remember me, but we had a shared moment in time. That's pretty much what life is anyway...a series of moments all strung together. He had the American flag draped over his casket as we laid him to rest two days ago. Daddy was a proud veteran and when TAPS was played at his service, the Military honors were bestowed upon him, and the flag was folded and handed to my brother, it was deeply emotional. Today we thank, honor and respect all those who serve and served. We need to continue to be "a grateful nation". #veterans #agratefulnation🇺🇸
