In my never-ending quest to bring 'fearless,' water-surface breaking journalism to the people of the #Outaouais, I went to @GCB_Bungee to jump off a 200ft-high tower-crane.

Sound on and volume up.

I actually think Netflix is suffering right now for the opposite reason.

ME 5 should to be referred to the Major Projects Office.

[We are Mass Effect - #SaveMassEffect @WeAreMassEffect]

A purported BioWare developer has leaked a trailer for the cancelled ME 5 on Reddit.

The footage, reportedly titled "MASS EFFECT UNIVERSE," appears to suggest the project was further along in development.

Its authenticity remains unverified.

All aboard! Part 2 of The Hill Times' Registered Fundraiser Omnibus has arrived:
In this installment, I've focused the analysis to Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre’s surge to top-performing fundraiser since late 2022, and Prime Minister Mark Carney's team of top-performing ministers and ridings helping him reinvigorate the party’s war chest since the last election.

In the first instalment of this series, The Hill Times took a deep dive into the 658 registered fundraising event reports published by Elections Canada since 2019.

The fundraisers, hosted primarily by the Liberals and Conservatives, represent an estimated $61.7-million in ticket sales and prior donations from 48,006 listed attendees over the past eight years.

Totals and analysis have been updated as of Oct. 16 to include two additional Liberal events, bringing the party to 432 of the total 660 events analyzed, with 34,353 attendees valued at an estimated $41.2-million. The Conservatives’ totals are unchanged, as are those of the Bloc Québécois, NDP, and People’s Party, with overall totals having risen to 48,493 attendees and an estimated $62.5-million since 2019.

This is what we’re up against trying to report on the CFB Wainwright tragedy.

On October 18, I asked Environment Canada for the original wind-warning bulletins for the region, to make sure I hadn’t missed any and because several had since been archived online.

I also asked for the timestamped XML files — or directions on how to access them myself.

I wasn’t asking about the fire. I wasn’t asking for anything new. I was trying to retrieve historical weather warnings and records, most of which were already publicly available.

This was their response.

It took them two full working days to send this.

Tfw you momentarily glimpse how Film Critics have been conditioned to think an embargo works:

[Sonny Bunch @SonnyBunch]

Really kind of shocking to me that nominal professionals don't understand what an "embargo" is. Quick explainer thread.
