Na kwani these chics only pretend to love darkskin negros in the internet ama nini? They have never approached me to tell me I look nice na vile huwa nimedungia vinoma nikiingia tao. The only people who approach me are matatu packers asking me if im going to kisumu or Siaya
Consolata Githinji was a student from a very humble background. Yet somehow, she lived a life that very few can afford. One weekend she would be in Malindi, the next in Zanzibar, Diani or Kisumu, and dining in Nairobi’s posh hotels, among other places. Some time back, I remember vividly that Shaffie Weru was fired from Homeboyz Radio for advising ladies to love themselves, because not every man is mentally stable.
He gave a very good example,, if someone facilitates your transport from Thika to Naivasha, why would you expect that he won’t demand something in return? Most of the time you’ll meet a sane person and nothing happens, but if he is unstable or a little tipsy, he can do anything to you.
Anyway, we are not justifying gender-based violence, but ladies need to love themselves and be careful.
RIP Connie.
Kule Narok Maasai iko na pesa like nonsense. Jamaa inachomoa 300k kwa shuka in cash imekuja kununua ng’ombe unaezadhani ni maembe inanunua buana. If I can find a way of selling these guys something they dont have, tuseme underwear ivi, nairobi nitarudi nikiwa billionare. Siet!

Even when said a joke, its impossible to not see the self loathe and hate kenyans have for themselves and to each other especially it comes to skin colour. For no explainable reason,a majority of the population seems to be lowkey disgusted by the sight of dark skin. Black men mock fellow black men for having darker skin. Logically speaking, there isnt anything to laugh at,if anything all of us should aspire to have dark skins as much as possible, its a gift.
But that isn’t the case unfortunately, after the pre colonial expirience, the oppressed(Africans) have been dominated even in the mind. Though they will never admit it but you can see it in their actions, the kenyans are ashamed of what defines them and are now in an achievable race where they want to feel proximity to the colonizer. The obsession with light skin has everything to do with kenyans wanting to feel proximity to the mzungu. Its also the reason why somalis will underlook other tribes and call them “nywele ngumu”
And this colonial exposure gap spreads so wide to even cover languages. Those who can speak english or french better, underlook those who cannot, because they feel they’re closer to the Mzungu. Its not about who is educated,if it was,we’d have learn everything in our local languages just like the germans, chinese,Russians, and Japanese have.
And this self Loathe and self disgust africans have upon themselves,is the reason why south Africans are chasing away fellow african foreigners, and leaving behind the white men who have occupied their lands immorally, viciously and Illegally. Ni uchungu sana!
