@harriet_symonds Politics is about power and the influence of it on others. Burnham is no different from Starmer in that respect. It's what you do with power once you get it that matters.
@RogersHistory I think it's mainly due to the rise of Reform/Restore and the dreadful local election results. What the government has achieved is largely ignored by the media
The media is only interested in "debate" which is normally 75% criticism of the sitting party.

@malcolm_reavell@LongjohnMolls If you over supply something demand for it drops - and so does it's value, basic economics. A currency is no different. If the government just kept increasing money supply as you suggest the value of the pound would plummet, leading to very high inflation
